The seven-style shank prevents the horse from lipping the bit. This mouthpiece is a straight bar hinged on a center roller, encouraging lateral collection and lift. This bit requires light contact. The sweet iron mouthpiece keeps the horses mouth moist.

NOTE: This bit will rust when exposed to moisture. This creates a sweet taste in the horses mouth and promotes salivation.
