Bit - Francois Gauthier Antique Hinged Futurity

Francois Gauthier Training Series. This bit features a low port hinged futurity mouth piece. 5" sweet iron curved with a port. Copper inlays help to provide a softer mouth. Stainless steel brushed barrels. Short shanks have stainless steel dots and measure 5 1/2". Excellent transition bit. The next step after the snaffle. Good for teaching the basic maneuvers. Very comfortable for young horses. Light to moderate effect.

Level 2 Bit - Moderate Effect - As the horse progresses and acquires more experience you can start using Level Two bits with thinner mouthpieces and longer cheeks. Most Level Two bits still have swiveling cheeks. They can be used by a majority of riders with any kind of hands as they won't easily damage the horse's mouth. Level Two bits are pretty much your ever day bit for any kind of horse or rider.
