Francois Gauthier Correctional Bit with Center Roller - 8 3/4" stainless steel brushed hi-purchase shank with stainless steel trims, hand engraved, and stainless steel dots. 5 1/8" correctional mouthpiece with copper roller and copper inlays. The hi-purchase shank design allows a better pressure distribution to the poll. This correctional mouthpiece has a stronger effect with the center roller but also activates salivation. A step up compared to a regular correctional bit. Good for advanced or show horses. Provides a moderate to strong effect.

Level 3 Bit - Moderate to Strong Effect. Level three bits are suited for more mature horses (4 to 5 years old) with the capacity of accepting more pressure from the bit. So, thinner or twisted mouthpieces, longer shanks, none swiveling cheeks. This category includes your curb bits. Not sever bits, but just dedicated to more experienced horses and riders.
