More responsive than a twisted wire snaffle, this mouthpiece has more tongue contact and quicker pressure release than a traditional two-piece snaffle. Will keep a horse supple and light throughout his training. Stage A bits are great for starting horses, training, or maintaining steady contact. Handmade in Yoakum, Texas.

Sweet iron is intended to rust and is sweet tasting to the horse to promote salivation, which makes a more supple feeling mouth. It may be used with or without a leather curb strap; we recommend using a leather curb strap for safety.
